About the Role

Morey Group, a division of The Lukens Company, is a national market research and consulting firm that is seeking an Account Manager to join our team in our Charleston, SC office. Morey Group innovatively uses data and technology to support the unique fundraising and marketing needs of cultural attractions and nonprofits. Our clients range from zoos and aquariums to museums and art institutes, each of which uses our research to make informed decisions.

The Account Manager will play a key role within our client services team and carries out the day-to-day management of Morey Group’s Visitor Survey Programs and other research and benchmark studies for assigned clients and projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serving as day-to-day contact for assigned Visitor Survey clients, including survey design and revisions, interviewing scheduling, billing, reporting, analysis, and proofing

  • Managing data collection efforts (in-person and electronic) and data import

  • Managing Benchmark data for Visitor Surveys and Member Surveys

  • Assisting in preparation and proofing of reports and proposals

  • Providing office administrative support related to logistics, office supplies, and answering and redirecting phone callers as needed

  • Other job duties as assigned by management

What We'd Like to See

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 1-3 years of professional work-related experience

  • Self-starter with a demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects, prioritize a variety of tasks, and think on your feet to meet ever-changing needs and deadlines

  • Excellent communication and writing skills

  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

  • Good team player and comfortable with shifting priorities

  • Strong quantitative skills, including a high level of fluency with Microsoft Excel

  • SPSS and/or Snap knowledge is a plus

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer/copy machine

  • This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office

  • The person in this position frequently communicates via telephone

  • Willingness to learn and develop a solid understanding both of market research as it relates to cultural, educational, not-for-profit, and political organizations and of Morey Group processes in client service, survey design, data collection, data manipulation, reporting procedures and results analysis
